Who are we ?

We are Lili Berina. We make Murano glass flowers by hand in the Basque Country.

Each glass flower is made entirely by hand. We keep a small stock in reserve but we mostly make to order and only use Murano glass.
Our goal is to create special items that are durable and will allow you to give the flowers you love all year round to celebrate birthdays, Mother's Day, All Saints' Day, Christmas, weddings and any other occasion that is important to you!

Our Inspiration

Flowers, with their delicate beauty, inspire us to create unique and captivating creations. Their bright colours and beautiful shapes are to be found in every article that we create. The Basque Country, with its majestic mountains and spectacular coastlines, is an inexhaustible source of inspiration. We tap into this awe-inspiring nature to create designs that aim to reflect the natural beauty that surrounds us. We believe in the value of doing the right thing. This is why we favor the use of durable and environmentally friendly materials. We wish to preserve the nature that surrounds us, taking care to minimize that footprint of our business on the ecological balance that we are all part of. Finally, friendship is an essential pillar of our project. Two riends came together to bring our brand to life. Our collaboration is based on trust, creativity and mutual support. It is this friendship that keeps us going and we hope brings a smile to our customers as well.

In the interests of sustainability and waste reduction, we maintain a minimum stock. This approach allows us to limit losses and avoid employing materials unnecessarily. We are committed, when possible, to manufacturing upon the reception of each order. This may mean your order takes a little order to arrive but you know that it has been made specially for you and that the minimum amount of ressources have been used in it's production - making it about as green as we can.

About Lili Berina

Lili Berina was born in Irissarry in the heart of the Basque Country to a French mother and an English dad who met in Latvia.

During a study trip they talked together about the possibility of creating an online florist for handmade glass flowers. And bingo. They did it.

Nathalie Gonzalez is the creative force behind our project.
More than 12 years ago, she discovered the profession of artistic pearler, or glassmaker with a blowtorch, or glass spinner...
Through experimentation and training in master classes, she learned to master the technique of spinning.
A vast area to explore, endless learning, this profession finally recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a vast field of possibilities.
His passion for the transformation of matter and creation always leads him to go further. First pottery and now glass flowers. Nathalie is also at the heart of the creative collective Karaban'art, whose activities she still coordinates.

And Geoff Hamshere? Well, he takes care of the support and the shop…
